PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising pot not inhibiting growth of root after transplantation without problem causing lowering of strength in thinly forming whole pot, lowering of water retainability of a raising pot in which holes are previously provided and dropping of soil. SOLUTION: The raising pot 1 comprises a biodegradable resin formed in a cup-like shape as a main component and installs a thin wall part 5b having a wall thickness partially thicker than other side wall part on the side wall 5 and installs a thin wall part 3b having a wall thickness partially thicker than that of other bottom wall part on the bottom wall 3. Since thin wall parts 3b and 5b are decomposed in early stages after transplantation, the roots can be grown toward the interior of soil without preventing the growth of roots. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
