PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which has a reduced number of parts compared with that of a conventional one with a filter formed independently of a cleaner body case, and for which the work for applying filter to the cleaner body case can be omitted. SOLUTION: At least a part of a wall portion (upper wall 9b, side walls 9c, 9d, rear wall 50a, partition wall 55) forming an exhaust channel (exhaust chambers 10a, 10c, blower chamber 56) of the cleaner body case (6, 50) is made of an air permeable porous wall portion (16, 17, 42, 50a, 55a) integrally formed with the cleaner body case (6, 50). The cleaner body case has no separate filter, so that the number of parts is reduced and the work of applying the filter to the cleaner body case is omitted.
