<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a catalyst for a composite oxide which can be used to carry out the reaction of the gas phase catalytic oxidation of acrolein efficiently even in a relatively low temperature condition, and a reaction result (acrolein conversion ratio and acrylic acid yield) is difficult to be decreased with a lapse of time by suppressing the generation of a hot spot, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the catalyst for the composite oxide having a designated element by the integration of a source of supplying the element and heat-treatment, this method is characterized in that the composite oxide used is represented by Sb-Ni-O or Sb-Ni-X-O (however, a X is at least one kind of element selected from Si or Al) heat-treated in advance as a source of supplying Sb and Ni in the above catalyst for the composite oxide, and also a compound of basic nickel carbonate is used at least as a part of the source of supplying Ni, and an isometric system Sb<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>is used at least as a part of the compound for the source of supplying Sb in this composite oxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
