PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an unnecessary hot-melt portion as small as possible and to improve the visibility of a marked portion, on the occasion of conducting hot-melt marking on a photosensitive material.
SOLUTION: A YAG laser having an oscillation wavelength band of 266-1,064 nm that is a wavelength band enabling hot melt or evaporation of an emulsion layer alone is applied as a laser oscillator 44. Thereby the emulsion layer 16 alone can be made hot-melt or evaporated without producing any effect on a PET layer 14 being a substrate. Since no effect is exerted on the PET layer 14, burning of impurities contained in the PET layer 14 is suppressed and besides conduction of the heat generated in the PET layer 14 to the emulsion layer 16 and the consequent excessive heating of the emulsion layer 16 can also be prevented. Therefore the factor causing deformation of other portion of the emulsion layer 16 than the portion wanted to be marked can be eliminated.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
