<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrel with a clip for a writing utensil which structurally enables a clip main body to approach or separate from the side of the barrel, if desired and endure a long service life with outstanding workability and assembling ease. <P>SOLUTION: A manipulator is formed by extending a cam part from a manipulation part in a direction along the axis, then a through hole which makes the manipulation part communicate with the cam part is formed in the manipulator and a barrel material with a wider anti-slip out part than the hole width of the through hole, is inserted into the through hole so that the anti-slip out part is positioned on the manipulation part side and thus the end part of the barrel material on the opposite side to the anti-slip out part is retained in the barrel. In addition, an elastic element with one end part brought into contact with the anti-slip out part of the barrel material, and the other end part coming into contact with the manipulation part of the manipulator, is arranged. Finally, the manipulator is mounted on the barrel by bringing the manipulation part of the manipulator into contact with the end part of the barrel by a rebounding force of the elastic element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
