<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the responsiveness and drive speed of a hydraulic clamp device by use of a pneumatic-hydraulic converter. <P>SOLUTION: This hydraulic clamp device for clamping or/and unclamping a member to be clamped such as a tool and a workpiece is provided with a clamp member provided in the member to be clamped so as to engage, a driving member 119 for driving the clamp member, a hydraulic cylinder 35 for driving the driving member 119, the pneumatic-hydraulic converter 11 for accumulating pneumatic pressure from a pneumatic pressure source 29 and generating oil pressure by the accumulated pneumatic pressure, a hydraulic change-over valve 33 arranged between the pneumatic-hydraulic converter 11 and the hydraulic cylinder 35, a pneumatic change-over valve 25 arranged between the pneumatic- hydraulic converter 11 and the pneumatic pressure source 29, and a valve control means for controlling change-over timing of the hydraulic change-over valve 33 and the pneumatic change-over valve 25 independently in accordance with clamping or/and unclamping. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
