<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter which can perform correct cutting by a simple configuration in a space-saving manner. <P>SOLUTION: This cutter comprises a frame 12 having a girder 12b which travels along a rail 11 and is disposed orthogonal to the rail 11, a traverse carriage 13 which traverses along the girder 12b of the frame 12, a cutting torch 14 mounted on the traverse carriage 13, an NC apparatus 32 to control the traveling of the frame 12, the traverse of the traverse carriage 13 and the operation of the cutting torch 14, a CCD camera 21 which picks up an image of the predetermined position of the frame 12 or a part of a cutting area 1a provided on the traverse carriage 13, and an image processing control device 31 to recognize the state of the cutting area by processing the image picked up by the CCD camera 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
