NEW MICROORGANISM, METHOD FOR DEGRADING RUBBER WITH THE SAME, AND APPARATUS FOR DEGRADING RUBBER WITH THE SAME MICROORGANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new microorganism capable of degrading a rubber such as natural rubber or a styrene - butadiene rubber, to provide a method for degrading the rubber and an apparatus for degrading the rubber with the microorganism.

SOLUTION: The microorganism belongs to the genus Enterobacter such as Enterobacter cloacae MOE-1 strain and degrades the rubber. Furthermore, the rubber is degraded by adding the Enterobacter cloacae MOE-1 strain to a culture medium containing the rubber and culturing the Enterobacter cloacae MOE-1 strain.
