ORAL CARE SUPPORT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral care support device which supplies and draws a sufficient quantity of water, and solves the problem immediately with a care giver singularly when emergency such as careless swallow happens. SOLUTION: Drug solution is supplied from a packed water supply part 20 with a water supply pack 21 to an electric toothbrush 10. A medicine solution is supplied from a brush-filling part 11 of the toothbrush 10 to the oral cavity of a person cared. Drug solution supplied in the oral cavity of the person cared is drawn by a suction part 30. A sufficient quantity of water can be supplied and drawn by fixing the suction part 30 separately from the toothbrush 10. The toothbrush 10 has a water supply button 14a which operates water supply. A care giver can stop water supply by operating the water supply button 14a and solve the problem by himself immediately when emergency such as careless swallow happens. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
