<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discontinue using conventional ornamental caps and to enhance the strength for retaining a door inner seal, in an automobile door trim of a type with a waist line gradually changed and the door inner seal insertedly fixed therein. <P>SOLUTION: In the gradually changed portion of the waistline 12 of a door trim 10, plate-like ribs 13 are disposed at specified pitch intervals, extending vertically inside the waist part of the door trim base material 11, and, by press- fixing an insert strip 32 of the door inner seal 30 in the insert grooves 14 notchingly formed in the plate-like ribs 13, the door inner seal 30 is firmly retained. Since the plate-like rib 13 can be formed without molding an undercut by vertically driving a core 60, the use of conventional ornamental caps can be discontinued. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
