IMAGE RECORDER, INFORMATION PROCESSOR, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING OPERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder in which a color proof of desired set conditions can be obtained more reliably while facilitating management of the set conditions by limiting the operating mode of the image recorder such that operation on an operating panel provided in the image recorder is disabled.

SOLUTION: The image recorder comprises a control means for limiting the operating mode such that setting/operation from a second operating means is disabled based on a command for requesting limitation of setting/operation transmitted from an information processor, and releasing the limitation based on a command for requesting limitation transmitted from the information processor.
