PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold a driving signal with a plurality of driving pulses having different bias levels within a limited potential level. SOLUTION: Driving signals COM1 and COM2 generated by a driving signal generating circuit include driving pulses DP1 and DP3 having the bias levels adjusted to an intermediate potential Vm, the driving pulse DP2 having the bias level adjusted to a grounding potential GND, a preparation signal DP0 with a first correcting factor P0 for changing the potential from the intermediate potential Vm to the grounding potential GND, and a return signal DP4 with a second correcting factor P14 for changing the potential from the grounding potential GND to the intermediate potential Vm. The preparation signal DP0 is arranged ahead of the driving pulse DP2, and the return signal DP4 is arranged behind the driving pulse DP2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
