PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment apparatus capable of properly treating water to be treated so as to follow even a sudden change in the quality of water to be treated. SOLUTION: This water treatment apparatus has an ozone treatment device 4 including an ejector, an ozone dissolving pump or a static mixer to treat water to be treated with ozone supplied from an ozone generator 3, and is equipped with a membrane filter 5 for filtering ozone treated water discharged from the ozone treatment device 4 and an ozone concentration control unit 7 for controlling the supply amount of ozone from the ozone generator 3 so as to set the concentration of residual ozone in ozone treated water before filtered by the membrane filter 5 to 0.1-1 mg/L.
