PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floating toy capable of emitting light from a toy body floating in a container to provide a lot of fun as desired by vibrating the container while preventing consumption of a built-in battery. SOLUTION: The container 10 is formed to let water 19 in and out. The toy body 20 is composed to have a light emitting means 34, a vibration detecting means 35, and a power source 36 inside, with switches 37 and 38 between the vibration detecting means 35 and the power source 36 exposed outward to be energized by the water 19 in the container 10. By housing the toy body 20 in the container 10, and giving vibration to the container 10, the vibration detecting means 35 is put on, thereby the light emitting means 34 emits light.
