PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of handling even the elasticity measuring and displaying function of tissue in addition to a conventional function. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus is constituted so as to be connected to an ultrasonic probe to transmit and receive an ultrasonic wave to perform the processing of a received signal and the display of an image and equipped with a means for measuring the elasticity of a tissue, a tissue elasticity image constitution means for constituting the elasticity image of the tissue on the basis of the output of the means of measuring the elasticity of the tissue and a tissue elasticity image display means for displaying the constituted elasticity image of the tissue along with a B-mode image or a Doppler image.
