PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient apparatus for waste treatment, which exhibits improved and stable drying performance by improving waste drying performance.

SOLUTION: This apparatus is constituted so that a drying chamber 23 and a dehumidifying member 28 consisting of a moisture absorbing material are arranged in the middle of an air blowing route 24 for circulating air by a blower 25 and the waste housed in the chamber 23 is dehumidified and dried. Since the air circulating in the route 24 can be dehumidified by the member 28, this apparatus can be operated without being affected by outdoor air.
