<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein when the calyx of a green pepper is cut with a cooking knife, dense and small seeds are scattered in a sink, so in the case of being in a hurry, a dish without green pepper is cooked, resulting in that the green pepper often goes off in a refrigerator. <P>SOLUTION: In this core remover for a green pepper, a cylindrical blade 2 and the point of a bayonet 1 projected at the central part are provided on the top of a grip 4. One or more points of a bayonet may be used. In the inner surface 6 of a cavity formed in the grip 4, a stopper 8 is fixed to the tip of a core push rod 7, and a slidable core push rod 1 is fixed to the core push button 9 at the other end part. The core push button 9 is provided to be put in and out of a recessed part formed at the lower part of the grip 4.
