PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator which can carry out suitable application works. SOLUTION: This applicator 1 is provided with a long and narrow, approximately box-like application material receiver 13 having a longitudinal direction in the lateral direction. The application material receiver 13 has a plurality of bottom plate application ports longitudinally arranged in the bottom plate portion. The applicator 1 is further provided with an application member 16 capable of adjusting the application amount of an application material W by the rotation of the application member on a lateral rotation axisα. The application member 16 has application ports corresponding to the bottom plate application ports of the application material receiver 13. A remote switch is operated to rotate the application member 16 with a driving motor, thereby changing the communication quantities between the bottom plate application ports and the application ports to adjust the application amounts of the application material W.
