摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting material that can be formed into a film by vapor deposition or spin coating, shows excellent performances (a high glass transition temperature, high emission efficiency, low-voltage driving, high color purity, a long service life, and a deep red color (longer wavelength)) when used for an organic EL element, and that can be particularly suitably used for a red light-emitting material.SOLUTION: The light-emitting material comprises a 3,6-dithiophenylpyrrolo[3,4-c]pyrrole-1,4(2H,5H)-dione derivative and such a material that in a solid film state, the material has a peak wavelength of a photo-excitation emission spectrum in a range from 550 to 630 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
