PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing a transparent electrode used for a surface light-emitting element, in which the transparent electrode for the surface light-emitting element can be properly designed by measuring the amount of absorbing light emitted in the inside of the surface light-emitting element by the transparent electrode, using a simple method and also to provide a transparent electrode used for the surface light-emitting element.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a method for designing a transparent electrode 12 in a surface light-emitting element having the transparent electrode 12 on a transparent substrate 11. In the selection of the transparent electrode 12, regarding each sample transparent electrode, an absorption rate of the sample transparent electrode at each angle and the absorption rate of the sample transparent electrode in each of polarized light are evaluated, and the sample transparent electrode having low comprehensive absorption rate is selected as the transparent electrode used for the optimal surface light-emitting element.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
