PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing lightweight, inexpensive greening material needing minimally required maintenance, applying to formation of a green space on an artificial ground such as a rooftop, flatland or the inside of a building. SOLUTION: The method for producing a blocked greening material basically aims at environment-respective circulating use of resources such as processed scraps, forming/hardening material comprising vegetable components, surplus soil left after construction, and/or rainwater so as to meet the needs of the environmentally symbiotic times.
