BIOSENSOR AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor (odor sensor) having high sensitivity and excellent selectivity by combinedly using an optical fiber and a ferment (an enzyme immobilized membrane). SOLUTION: This biosensor is characterized by closely sticking an enzyme immobilized membrane on a tip of an optical fiber. The biosensor is obtained by coating and impregnating an enzyme and a photocrosslinkable resin on a dialysis membrane, crosslinking the photocrosslinkable resin to immobilize the enzyme on the membrane and, thereby to obtain the enzyme immobilized membrane and closely sticking the obtained membrane on the tip of the optical fiber.
