PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily transportable container to be used both for cultivation and package for mushroom having excellent cultivation efficiency in spite of the use of raw wood and free from being bulky even when supplied to distribution with bed logs. SOLUTION: This container has bed logs H obtained by superposing on each other raw woods 1A, 1B, 1C and 1D cut into round slices with large and small diameter in a plurality of stairs so as to make the diameter smaller toward the upper part. The bed logs H form ring-like projecting stair parts 2A, 2B, and 2C on a non-superposed surface of the raw wood on the upper stair above the raw wood on the lower stair. The space put between the peripheral wall of the raw wood on the upper stair of the bed log and the projecting stair parts of the raw wood on the lower stair is used as a cultivation space R for mushroom M produced from the raw wood.
