<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-damp-towel-preparing apparatus which has a cassette type of a rolling part and maximizes the ease of maintenance as a merit of the type. <P>SOLUTION: In the rolling part, a cassette 54 comprises a pair of rotating rollers 18 and 19 and a biased roller 21 as parts of the rolling part, and an endless belt 20 which is rounded around the rollers 18, 19 and 20. A fixed belt 24, which is the other part of the rolling part, is fixed on a machine frame 34. The cassette 54 is inserted into the machine frame 34 through a guide protrusion 58 and a guide gutter 60 to be engaged with a drive gear on the machine frame. When the cassette 54 is removed, the face of protrusions (24A) of the fixed belt 24 is totally opened to the outside. Therefore, it is extremely easy to remove and clean clogged pieces of sheet.
