PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite comprising an aluminum alloy and a resin, reconciling the merit of a housing made of a metal and the merit of a synthetic resin structure in electronic machinery, household electric machinery or the like, high in productivity, having mass productivity, capable of making the design of a shape and a structure free and useful for enhancing the lightweight properties and strength of various articles and structures without being seized only by electronic machinery and household electric machinery. SOLUTION: The composite comprising the aluminum alloy and the resin is immersed in an aqueous solution of a compound selected from ammonia, hydrazine, a hydrazine derivative and a water soluble amine compound in a pretreatment process. This composite is inserted in an injection mold for injecting a rib 3 and a thermoplastic resin composition is applied to the surface of a metal frame using an injection molding method to perform the molding of the rib. The housing of the molded case cover 1 has a structure wherein the metal frame 2 and the rib 3 made of the thermoplastic resin composition are joined integrally and the feature of a metal is put to practical use from an aspect of strength and an external design.
