PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus having a top board for decubitus imaging, which is suitable for performing a pneumatic area (PA) imaging. SOLUTION: This radiation imaging apparatus is constituted of the top board 102, a sensor unit 103, and a guiding unit 402. In this case, the top board 102 is used for the decubitus imaging of a subject, and can take a substantial standing state for a standing imaging of the subject. The sensor unit 103 includes a sensor for converting the radiation having passed the subject into an image, is located on behind of the top board at the time of decubitus imaging, and at the same time, can move together with the top board. The guiding unit 402 guides the movement of the sensor unit in such a manner that the sensor unit can be arranged at a location where the sensor unit may be exposed from the back side of the top board when the top board is under a standing state.
