PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously display both colored infrared images without color deviation and visible light images in an endoscope imaging system which performs infrared observation in vivo under administration with ICG as a contrast medium. SOLUTION: A dichroic mirror 25A and an infrared cut filter 27 perform a spectroscopic analysis to separate reflected light from an object into visible light and near infrared light. A dichroic mirror 25B, a 805 nm bandpass filter 28 and a 930 nm bandpass filter 29 further spectrally separate the near infrared light into first and second near infrared lights of different wavelengths. A color CCD 30 receives the visible light separated by the dichroic mirror 25A and the infrared cut filter 27. First and second monochromatic CCDs 31A and 31B respectively receive the first and second near infrared lights separated as mentioned above. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
