<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily joining a thermoplastic resin molded body and a film with a high positional accuracy, causing no wrinkle, no deformation or no strain and maintaining an excellent surface appearance, and to provide a composite molded body of the thermoplastic resin molded body and the film being joined. <P>SOLUTION: In the joining method, the thermoplastic resin molded body and the film are laid on each other and joined on the matched faces thereof by irradiation with laser from the film side.
