<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice ball maker that can automatically make rice balls which are compacted hard near the surface, while the inner part is kept soft and full with good biting and tongue feeling, in a large amount, and further the ball maker is simple in structure. <P>SOLUTION: A device 2 for making rice balls comprising a first rice-ball forming part 2a having a bulging part 2d, a second forming part 2b having a bulging part 2f, a connection part 2g between the first forming part 2a and the second forming part 2b and an extended piece 2c extending from the periphery of the forming parts 2a, 2b is allowed to rotate whereby rice balls M are produced inside. Thus, the rice ball maker is constituted with a first substantially disk form rotor 5 on the bottom side, a second cylindrical rotor 6 of a substantially cylindrical shape with a small diameter, a cylindrical cover 1 on the outside of the second rotor 6, the lid 3 that has the inlet 3a for vertically throwing the device 2 for making rice balls, a plurality of inclined member 7 that are arranged to the first rotor 5, and the partition plates 8 which partition the gap between the second rotor 6 that is vertically attached on the outer face side of the second rotor 6 and the cover 1 into a plurality of sections. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
