FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: integrated optical element including a substrate made from lithium niobate crystal and an optical waveguide built into the substrate and formed by thermal diffusion of titanium from a titanium strip with the width of 3-7 µm and the thickness of 60-80 nm applied on the substrate surface. Depth of the optical waveguide is 3-4µm, and maximum concentration of titanium ions in the optical waveguide is (1-5)·10m.EFFECT: integrated optical element is of simple design and herewith keeps the property of extracting polarization, and also possesses low optical losses.1 cl, 2 dwg
