摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To simultaneously and continuously measure a blood pressure and degree of oxygen saturation in blood. CONSTITUTION:This instrument has two light sources 1, 2 which generate light rays of the wavelengths different from each other, an optical sensor means which has a photodetector 3 for detecting the light transmitted through or reflected from the section to be measured of a living body, a cuff 5 which has this optical sensor means, a cuff pressure controller 7 which controls the pressure to be applied to this cuff 5, a volume signal detection part 9 which separates the volume signals of the respective wavelengths from the light quantity signals detected by the optical sensor part, a pressure sensor 15 which detects the cuff pressure and a control section 17 which determines the blood pressure value in accordance with the pulsation component of the one volume signal and the cuff pressure and determines the degree of oxygen saturation in blood from the volume pulsation signal extracted from the pulsation components of the respective volume signals.</p>
