<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a head rest which is capable of lessening the labor required for the position regulation of the head rest. SOLUTION: The head rest is constituted by having a lower arm 11 which is turnable within a plane orthogonal to a first horizontal shaft 15 of a back rest 7, an upper arm 12 is mounted via a second horizontal shaft 16 so as to be turnable within a plane parallel to the lower arm 11, a head rest body 14 which is turnable within a plane parallel to the upper arm 12 and an actuator 13 which is a locking mechanism for regulating the turning of the lower arm 11 with respect to the first horizontal shaft 15 and the turning with respect to the second horizontal shaft 16 or releasing the regulation thereof. The actuator 13 which is the locking mechanism is made as a motor driven type.</p> |
