<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a pressure loss and the noise of separation uniformly in the whole area of an air outlet grille unit for the outdoor machine of an air conditioner. SOLUTION: A saw-teeth type part 5 is formed on the fore rim part 3a of grille vanes 2a, 2a,... while the angle of apexθt of summits 5a, 5a,... is changed in accordance with an angle of attackθa with respect to outlet air for the purpose of reducing the separation of outlet air, sent out under a whirling condition, and a pressure loss due to the separation. Then, vertical vortexes, whose number is in accordance with the angle of attachθa, are generated from the troughs 5b, 5b,... of the saw-teeth part 5 whereby air stream, high in the flow speed at a part apart form the negative pressure surfaces of the grille vanes 2a, 2a,... can be sucked to the vicinity of negative pressure surfaces of the grille vanes 2a, 2a,... and the flow of air at the negative pressure surface side of respective grille vanes 2a, 2a,... can hardly be separated substantially evenly thereby reducing the pressure loss and noise.</p> |
