PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a structure capable of generating sherbet-like ice within a short time without being limited by its environment in use, realizing snowfall environment by the generated sherbet-like ice and performing a durability test of a wheel bearing.SOLUTION: A durability test device 24 for a wheel bearing is constituted by an environment tank 7, a refrigerant tank 8, liquid supply means 9, a blade 10 and a hub-unit driving device 25. A temperature at a cooling surface 17 arranged in the environment tank 7 is adjusted to become less than a melting point of raw material 15 and more than eutectic point. Upon blowing raw material 15 by an injection nozzle 22 of liquid supply means 9 against the cooling surface 17, the raw material 15 is frozen on the cooling surface 17. The raw material 15 frozen on the cooling surface 17 is scraped off by the blade 10 to generate the sherbet-like ice. A wheel supporting hub unit assembled to the hub-unit driving device 25 is driven within the environment tank 7 kept in such a state to perform a durability test.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
