A voltage generator, comprising: a reference signal generator, comprising: an input unit configured to receive a control signal, andan output unit configured to generate a reference signal, wherein the reference signal is dependent at least in part on the control signal and on a temperature, such that a change in the reference signal in response to a change in the temperature is based partly on the control signal; and a programmable register, configured to store a changeable code value and to generate the control signal based on the code value, wherein the changeable code value corresponds with a desirably non-constant temperature dependent reference signal which changes with temperature, wherein the control signal is configured to be transmitted to another circuit, and wherein a temperature dependence of an output of the other circuit is based at least in part on the control signal.
