The invention relates to a structure suitable for improving the dielectric strength between two conductors (C1, C2) having different potentials, the two conductors being separated by an electrically insulating part (I) along which an electric arc can propagate according to a carrier path when the potential difference exceeds a threshold value, characterised in that said structure includes at least one electrically insulating element (pa, pb) positioned on the carrier path such that there is no physical seal, on the one hand, between the electrically insulating element and at least one of the two conductors and, on the other hand, between the electrically insulating element and the electrically conductive part. The invention can be implemented for the dielectric strength of medium- and high-voltage components (seal wires, extension devices, etc.). |
