PURPOSE: A fixing device for preventing falling soil is provided to stabilize the structure of a protecting wall and minimize damage caused during a fixing operation. CONSTITUTION: The fixing device for preventing falling soil is composed of: a front fixing plate(11) comprising a bent part(12) with an incised connecting groove(13), a connecting hole(14); a back fixing plate(15) connected with the front fixing plate by a connecting bolt(17) and a nut(18). The process of installing the fixer is composed of: driving a couple of H-beams into the ground; inserting protecting walls between the wings of the H-beams step by step and laying them up to a certain height; locating a back fixing plate with a connecting bolt assembled to the rear face of the protecting wall, then joining a front fixing plate with the back fixing plate by the connecting bolt and a nut.
