PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct amplitude errors and phase errors between receiving channels and improve the precision of angle detection in a monopulse radar apparatus. SOLUTION: A part of a transmission signal is supplied to each receiving end channel through a calibration signal line 4, where gains of a variable phase shifter 18 and a variable gain amplifier 19 are adjusted so that the azimuthal angle of an artificial object formed by a calibration signal calculated by a signal processing means 23 becomes a predetermined angle. It follows that calibration operation is simplified and angle calibration can be automated also, providing adaptability to characteristics fluctuations after product shipping caused by environmental changes and time-varying part characteristics.
