<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly adjust the time of a time recorder. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic timer of the time recorder is provided with a time adjustment means capable of stepping the time forward and backward in units of 10 seconds. For example, when the standard time is 9:42:35 and the time recorder indicates 9:41:45, a key F1 (10 seconds advance) is pressed twice to adjust the time to 9:42:05 and a key F7 (set) is pressed to reset the time to 9:42:00. When the key F1 is pressed four times, the time becomes 9:42:40, which is within an error of≤5 seconds.
