PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature sensor excellent in connection strength by providing a method for surely connecting an electrode surface to a tap wire. SOLUTION: The temperature sensor comprises a thin-film sensor chip provided with a heat-sensitive film formed on one surface of an insulating substrate and a pair of electrode films, and a tap wire electrically connected to the electrode film of the thin-film sensor chip. The part adjoining the electrode film of the insulating substrate is provided with an insert groove into which the tap wire is inserted. After the electrode film and the tap wire are electrically connected and secured using a jointing material, the entire surface of the heat- sensitive film side of the insulating substrate is covered with a protecting layer.
