PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means capable of using energy of a sewage flowing in a sewage pipe. SOLUTION: In this power generating system 100, power generating is made by making use of the sewage flowing in the sewage pipe 20. The energy of the sewage flowing in the sewage pipe 20, which is conventionally discarded, is recovered as electric power, and available for a street-light, a road heating and selling power to a utility company.
