PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for supplying segments capable of safe and efficient supply of segments to an erector while eliminating such inconveniences as overturn and runaway without fail. SOLUTION: A base frame 2, which is placed on transverse beams f located in the rear of an erector b of a shield drive machine S, is provided with a moving mechanism 3 for moving the base frame 2 toward the erector b and with a turnover prevention mechanism 4 for preventing the base frame b from turning over. The base frame 2 is further provided with a slide frame 5 thereon for placing a segment c, which slide frame 5 is made to slide freely back and forth in a direction of the erector b. Accordingly, the segment c may be supplied safely and efficiently to the erector b while eliminating such inconveniences as overturn or runaway without fail. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
