PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyvinyl alcohol film where an aqueous dispersion dope for producing the film has an excellent stability, a good flame retardance and excellent transparency. SOLUTION: This polyvinyl alcohol film containing ammonium polyphosphate covered with a triazine compound is obtained especially by blending 1-50 pt.wt. ammonium polyphosphate with 100 pts.wt. polyvinyl alcohol resin.
