<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus by which inspection, replacement or the like by a service man or the like are urged before an apparatus is urgently stopped due to the occurrence of abnormality by detecting the forerunning of the abnormality and previously informing it to a center. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus provided with a zero cross period measuring means to measure the zero cross period of AC voltage, an error controlling means to stop the apparatus when a fault is caused, an alarm controlling means to store warning information as an alarm history and a zero cross error detecting means by which the apparatus is urgently stopped by the error controlling means in the case that a difference between the zero cross period measured by the zero cross period measuring means and specified reference time is equal to or higher than a specified value A, it is stored as the alarm history by the alarm controlling means in the case that the difference between the zero cross period measured by the zero cross period measuring means and the specified reference time is lower than the specified value A and also equal to or higher than a specified value B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
