<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip which is excellently suitable for a use desirable not to be easily disengaged to stress in one direction, and moreover, to be easily disengaged to the stress in the other direction like a pillar garnish for a curtain type air bag. <P>SOLUTION: In the clip 10a which is provided with at least a set of elastic engaging pieces 16A, 17A to be inserted into a mounting hole 81 and to be engaged with the peripheral edge 82 of the mounting hole in the mutually opposite directions and is made to be capable of engagement and disengagement with the peripheral edge of the mounting hole by elastic deformation of the elastic engaging pieces, the engagement of one of a set of the elastic engaging pieces 16A, 17A with the peripheral edge of the mounting hole is strengthened compared with the other and the one elastic engaging piece is made so as not to be easily disengaged with the peripheral edge of the mounting hole compared with the other elastic engaging piece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
