PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a voltage application process and reduce manufacturing costs by applying voltage to the whole liquid crystal display panel area for multiple panels and performing inspection of display defects, polymerization of monomers in the liquid crystal components, and alignment control of the liquid crystal before a multiple panel substrate where the liquid crystal display panel areas for multiple panels are arranged is cut to be divided into individual liquid crystal display panels. SOLUTION: After a pair of glass substrate is cemented together by using a dispenser process capable of injecting a liquid crystal in the mother board state before being cut into the individual display panels, the voltage is applied to the pair of substrates before they are cut into the individual panels, and a display defect test (lighting test), pre-tilled control, and alignment processing necessary for the cell-making process of the panel are performed.
