<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten and stabilize a search time. <P>SOLUTION: This nonlinear optimal solution search device is provided with a control program including enclosure processing means repeatedly executing an enclosure processing, which finds a search point first exceeding the same value of a function value f(a) of a reference point by increasing a step widthαfrom the reference point a using an increase/decrease coefficient M for every time completing a single enclosure processing, while returning the step widthαto the search point right before the first exceeding search point, gradually decreasing the increase/decrease coefficient M, and finding the other terminal point B satisfying a relation that f(a) is approximately equal to f(b); and minimum solution search means searching the minimum value existing in the found section [a, b]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
