<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device by which a TFT array circuit is not broken down even when static electricity is applied to the TFT array substrate on which a plurality of the TFT array circuits are formed. <P>SOLUTION: It is possible to relax a surge applied to one TFT array circuit by forming a projection for discharge 14 projecting between a short ring 13 surrounding the periphery of a substrate 1 or shunt wiring surrounding each TFT array circuit from either of them, and making the other TFT array circuits absorb the surge with electricity discharged to the short ring 13 even if electric discharge occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
