<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clock device in which when power interruption is recovered, it prevents the wrong present time from being set due to the mistake of operating a switch. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer 10 provided in a controller 1 clocks a present time by operating with a power supplied from a commercial power source 6 via a rectifier 5. When it first becomes the present time set mode, by the operation of a time setting switch 22 after the power source 6 reset from the power interruption is detected by a power interruption detector 12, the microcomputer 10 sets an initial display '--:--' on an LED panel 30; and when the microcomputer 10 finishes the present time set mode by the operation of the switch 22, without operating a (+) switch 20 or a (-) switch 21, in a state in which the initial display '--:--' is set, the microcomputer 10 inhibits setting of a new clocking start time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
