CATALYTIC COMBUSTION TYPE DEODORIZING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the local deterioration of a catalyst by suppressing the channeling of odor gas generated by a catalyst deodorizing device and the irregularity of a temperature during catalytic combustion in a catalyst layer.

SOLUTION: The catalytic combustion type deodorizing device utilizing catalytic combustion for deodorizing the odor gas introduced through a flow path 4a into a catalyst part 8 comprises a residing space 20 provided in the flow path on the upstream side of the catalyst part 8. Pressure is regulated and equalized in the residing space and the channeling is suppressed to prevent the irregularity of a temperature in the catalyst layer and the local deterioration of the catalyst.
